Concerning the construction and use of two logging roads built through Lake Babine Indian Reserves No. 16 and No. 5 by the Omineca Lumber Company between 1957 and the early 1960s. The primary issues addressed by the research undertaken for this Report were: the adequacy of compensation received by the Lake Babine Band for the extraction of timber during the construction of these roads and for their subsequent use by the Company and; whether any illegal logging activity took place on the Reserves during the period in question.  This claim requires further research.
